The designers, Ang and Amy, have a background in screen printing, textiles and interior design for large residential developments.

They both fought a constant battle to find outdoor fabrics with style... or stylish fabrics with durability. With that goal in mind, The Long Weekend was born.

Perhaps the most striking difference in their work comes from the design process itself: Ang and Amy begin by painting with watercolours to create that dreamy weekend feel and go from there.

The girls set about developing a stylish range of textiles that could be used by the pool, on the deck and generally withstand the demands of a busy family home.
